Doubtful that a Mexican has ever crossed this doorway. They would've surely made it their life mission to improve their country's reputation by shutting this place down or improving the food greatly.
Luckily, the chance is quite low that a real Mexican will ever step foot in here. Why? Well, according to the 2001 UK Census, 5,049 Mexican-born people were living in the UK and 2. this is not Mexican food, and they wouldn't be foolish enough to go here looking for it (as I was).
It seemed to me to be a good option (better than frozen pizza from the corner store) on my way home Friday night. It looked to be somewhat of a homegrown Chipotle...but, worse. Much worse. My burrito was so soggy I could barely eat it, the ingredients cooked beyond recognition then stuffed into a gummy cheap burrito casing, wrapped in tin foil, set on a panini gril and then put in a paper bag for me to "enjoy."
Besides the lack of authenticity (HELL, I can even deal with inauthentic as long as it tastes GOOD!) the space is dim and sort of depressing. The girl behind the counter was nice enough and got me on my way quickly, and I was so hungry that I ate the whole burrito...but I assure you, I did not feel good about it.
Mexican food in a country with very little Mexican population is a recipe for disaster if you are looking for fine cuisine. Noted. I'll save my cravings and find something else to bask in... -

We tried the chicken burrito and chicken nachos. Now, my standards for London Mexican food are already extremely low but this place served my nachos cold..so can things really get any worse?

It's a very small place so better to take away. Not a massive selection, but what you get is fairly cheap, tastes OK. Cheap and cheerful, there are better places around, just not nearby, so this is convenient for a quick bite.
About as authentic as the Easter Bunny though (sorry if you believe!) -

I had a burrito here one Friday night.
Woeful.
When I saw the beans being added I started to have my doubts. They had no sour cream at all and they never put the jalepenos into the burrito that I said yes to when we were asked if we wanted jalepenos.
The beef mince used in the chilli was too fine or something, It reminded me of quarn mince.
The burrito tasted awful. Avoid is my advice. -

Disclaimer: Sorry but I'm from Oakland, California. I have very specific tastes when it comes to mexican food.
So I happened upon this place while looking for the Circus space. They were kind of on the way back to the tube.
They have the basics that resemble burrito fixings. But they also offered an asian flavored rice or something?
I just bought a basic grilled chicken burrito. Meh it was ok. It was missing something. Not enough flavor? Too tomato-y? Something.
If I'm going to be in the neighborhood more often I might come back and check some other things out. Kind of pricey for the quality but it would be convenient just grabbing something on the way home.
